CATASTROPHE!!!!!!!
OH. MY. HECK. The window air conditioner in our bedroom has been leaking into the room...right into some boxes of photos I had in there, stacked and ready to sort and scrap. YEARS of photos. Guard Girl and I have been working in panic mode to get the wet albums emptied and the photos laid out to dry. Catastrophe may be a harsh and overly dramatic word, because most of them just got a little bit wet on the edges and corners, but still....I think I am going to go puke.
Here are just a FEW of the photos...only I would stop in the middle and blog about it...

Sorry Angie, that can be very upsetting. I would cry, but I bet you can save them.

Oh my goodness!!! Just seeing some of those when I click to make them big makes me want to scrap some of them. Scan them at 600 dpi and upload to your flickr account. Hint hint.

Good luck with the photos. I don't think catastrophe or disaster is too strong a word for something like that - a personal disaster, anyway. It looks like you've got it under control, and hopefully not too much damage was done.

Thanks for the BOTB. Good luck!

I would have a freakin heart attack. Of course this is coming from the same woman who when forced to evacuate for hurricanes devotes 1/2 her trunk space to photos and albums. I hope they dry out ok! If tehy curl as they dry try sandwiching them in an unabridge dictionary. The crushing weight usually helps straighten them back out. This is what i do for vintage photos and it works like a charm. If you are going to scrapbook these using a good acid free non curling glue rather than your typical tape, sticky dots or glue since they may decide to try and recurl.
