Ask me some questions, I'll tell you no lies
Ok, so since Jenny over at Fickle Whimsy stalks Gypsy Girl and I stalk Jenny, well, I thought I would do this, too.

A.) First, recommend to me:

1. a movie
2. a book
3. a musical artist, song, or album

B.)Ask me 3 questions--no more, no less. Ask me anything you want.

C.)Go to your blog (if you have one), copy and paste this and allow everyone to ask you anything.

Be kind. :)

Edited to say that I absolutely cannot get the link to fickle whimsy to work. So, if ya wanna read her stuff, click on her on my blogroll.
Edited, AGAIN, to say WOO HOO, I got the link to work!!

    Movie: National Treasure
Book: Paris Underground (out of print, you have to get it used off of ebay or at half.com)
    Music: Fleetwood Mac, The Chain

    Three Questions:
    1. Where was your first kiss?
    2. Who was it with?
    3. What was going through your mind?

Ok, Jon. I'll answer you first, even if you were just being silly, maybe.

Yes, I believe in love. I believe love, loving and being loved, is so important in a person's life. In my life. I would hate to have to go through life without knowing love.

Do I believe in destiny? Not so much. Destiny, fate, I don't really think our lives are up to fate. We make the most of what we are given and sometimes change the course of events in our lives. Destiny? I don't know.

    annette--thanks for the recommendations!
    On to your questions..

Where was my first kiss? Who with? What was going through my mind?
I was 15 years old and it was Valentine's Day. I was staying all night with my best friend. Conveniently, my boyfriend at the time lived about a block, maybe 2 from her. She walked to his house with me so I could give him his gift. He gave me my gift, which included a rose, but I can't think what else he gave me. :) Anyway, he walked us back to my friend's house. Mind you, it was in February and it was snowy and cold. As we were walking down the street, I slipped and fell flat on my butt in the slushy snow in the street. I was so embarrassed! Thank goodness is was evening and kind of dark or he would have seen my red face and tears in my eyes. He helped me up and helped brush the snow off. (oh my god, he touched my butt!) So, he walks us to her door and my friend had enough sense to go on inside. We were standing in the breezeway all nervous and finally he kissed me. I remember being so freaked out and my heart racing. I also remember thinking that I didn't really like it all that much. But what I remember most was after the kiss, he said, "Slow down." Then he kissed me again. It seemed romantic at the time.

    Thanks for asking, annette! :)

Jenny--Thanks for the recommendations! I gave a little listen to Deb Talan this evening. Pretty good. I will listen more later and see if it is something I would like to have for myself. I haven't seen the Italian Job, but I'm gonna rent it this weekend! :) White Oleander,I'm planning to read. I saw the movie, but I would much rather read it.

What is the one thing I haven't done in life that I would love to do? I would love to take piano or singing lessons. I have always wished my parents had made me take lessons of some kind. I sometimes feel that I am not talented in any way and I'd love to see if I have any musical talent at all.

Who would I market myself to? I would market myself to my husband. Point out my finer qualities. Remind him why he married me in the first place. Let him know I am trying to get back to that girl.

Do I exercise regularly? I don't. I go in spurts where I will for a while and then slack off. I like to walk and it is my favorite way to exercise. At work, I took a toning class twice a week for a few weeks a couple of months back. They'll be offering aerobics coming up in January. I really liked doing that right after work. It wore me out, but was good for me!

    Great questions Jenny!!
