8th

And on the 8th day, God created a new furnace to heat Angie's house. And he saw that it was good.

We have heat!! Heat that doesn't come from a space heater! I am wearing normal lounge-around-the-house clothes! My fingers aren't frozen to the computer keys!

8 days with no heat was no fun. But, we made it and now we are comfy and toasty warm and thanking the good Lord for the miracle of high efficiency heat pumps.

Seriously.

I dislike being cold, don't know how you survived it for 8 days. I would have cried and then would have had ice on my face...And did you properly thank the heater guys?

Heh, and just what is involved with "properly thanking" the heating guys?! Hmmm, better make sure Bubba is present for this thanking....

It's nice to be warm again, isn't it? I've always found the absolute worst part of no heat is the.... come on, cringe with me now.... the toilet seat. That will take your breath away. Not to mention close the sphincter muscle.
