Go sit in a bookstore cafe or a food court or even McDs and people watch. They're usually good for a blog entry or two. Works for me, anyway :)

I actually carry a small notebook around and jot down ideas/things I run across daily. You'd be surprised how well that works.

Hang out at your local Wal-Mart or K-Mart on a Satruday morning. You'll find stories in every aisle. The parking lot is particularly good. You'll find everything from puppy giveaways, to marriage disputes, to child-raising tips (or not). The smaller the town, the better the entertainment.
I know what you mean though, I haven't entered anything in almost a month myself.
