I'm OLD!
A friend of mine called me on Thursday. She lives in Arizona and we haven't talked in about 3 years. Not because we were mad at each other, but because that is just the way it is. We go a while in between talks. Anyway, I was thinking about how she is my oldest friend...as in, the friend I've had the longest. We've been friends for at least 24 years. 24 years!! How did I get old enough to have had a friend for that long?? Wow. I don't really feel that old, but when I think about things like that, I kinda start feeling old.

Good thing is, I don't really have any wrinkles yet and very few, if any, grey hairs. If only I could get a few things lifted...and some fat sucked out. :)

Love the cartoon! I'd like to get the fat sucked off too. LOL I'm 31 and have only a couple gray hairs (which I pull out when I find them) but the aging process bugs me -- a lot!

    Cute cartoon!

I have a friend like that...we haven't talked in about 2 years now. I guess it's about time for a phone call!

Other than a few "laugh lines" and a few extra pounds...I'm OK. I'm trying to grow old gracefully. The keyword being "trying". :)

No matter what you think of yourself, Angie, just know that some of us out here think that you are beautiful just the way you are.

    You are appreciated!

I ran into a girl I new from high school not to long ago while at the grocery store... She said i looked familiar and i didn't snap to who she was until she said her name....

Then I wondered how it was that she got so old while I remained my in the prime of my youth....

It's only been about 18 years since I last saw her...

I'm glad I chose not to get old...

Hi. Thanks for stopping by. I feel old, too, and I'm also 35! (altho, I did note you are a tiny bit older than me!). My best friend I've had for 23 years. and I still talk to her every week. I liked your 141 things list. I am also afraid of heights, and still like my 80's music.
