She's I'm Not Ready!! |
I found out today that Indiana changed the cut off date for kids to start kindergarten next year(2006). A child will have to be 5 years old by August 1st in order to start kindergarten. That means Tater Tot will be old enough next year--by one day! Her birthday is July 31st. Oh...my...gosh...I am just coming to terms with Guard Girl being a FRESHMAN...At least I'll still have Baby J as my baby for 2 years after TT goes to school...*sigh*
If you need me I'll be over in the corner taking baby lotion intravenously... |

Oh I know how you feel. My baby will be starting Kindergarten this year!!! Waaaaaa!
A mom of a kid in my older son's class asked me what I would do with my days when J is in Kindergarten. I replied that I would be writing. LOL Gotta get a book published someday, don't I?

I'm not ready either. My son turned 4 in May. He starts junior kindergarten in September. I really don't want to let him go, but I also know he is ready. Hm.. let me know if that baby lotion works ;)

I was extra lucky, In NC the date to turn 5 is October 16th, My two older kids had to wait until they were 6 to go to kindergarten, my baby (2yrs old) will go when he is 5. But also in NC you can choose to send them at 6 instead of 5. But they can go to Headstart at 3, so Kindergarten was easier for me. But I guess it will be different for the last child!

My babygirl started K when she was just 4. She's almost 21 now, and I still remember bawling all the way to work!
