Anyone have a kleenex? |
Duran Duran tickets go on sale in a few hours...I'm almost positive I won't be getting any.
I'm going to go be sad now. |

I felt that way about U2 tickets. So sad! But GLAD I found your blog via Michele. Have a great weekend! Come by and see me sometime!
-
i'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!

I guess I should clarify, it isn't that I couldn't get them..it was a problem of funds. Cash. Greenbacks. Blah. I am holding on to the hope that I can still get nosebleed seats right before the show in July.
*sigh*

Hey Angie, came over from Michele's. I'm from Indiana too, well I was.
I just made Chick Fingers last night, that's riot. Cute blog name.

I have the same problem on low funds for a concert I want to go to in Jersey to see Maroon 5 on my birthday in July. I am hoping that we can still go since it's part of a new music festival about 20 minutes from our house,, it's the first one they have ever had in Toms River, NJ and the concert is included with tickets to the festival. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both you and me.

D2! Yes, I liked them in the 80's!
I missed the "Hit me baby one more time" show, I thought maybe I could watch it. But Flock of Seagulls and Loverboy? I did not like them when they were popular. I won tickets to Loverboy when they played here last Summer. I was telling someone about it, like "Yeah. What a PRIZE." and this other lady overheard and she was all excited and squealing how she LOVED Loverboy. Then you should have heard her when I dug the tickets out from the bottom of my purse and gave them to her. I was afraid she was gonna kiss me!

LOL at annie!
angie, I'll be crossing my fingers for you, too. I hope it works out for you.
Here via Michele's weekend hello thingy. It's been a while since I've read you, so it was perfect timing that your name was before mine. I love the plumb tuckered photo you posted a few days ago. Congrats on the weight loss and tell Lynnsy she has very pretty feet! :)
Oh, and I nearly forgot... *hands angie a kleenex* I have a SUPERFAMILYSIZED box of Kleenex here on my desk because I'm a sickypoo-medicinehead at the moment. Summer colds are no fun. (Don't worry, I sanitized my hands before I handed over the kleenex, lol)
Happy Weekend.

DuranDuran. Wow, talk about memories! I hope you get some tickets. That would be cool. :)
Hi from Michele's!
-
Angie, I have no tickets for you, but thanks for visiting my blog.
-
Aw, sorry to hear that...Simon will be crushed I'm sure!!!!! Shouldn't they have a special place for you since you???? How dare they not! :)
Hi from Micheles!
-
hahahahaha... I didn't finish my sentence {lame} I meant to continue with since....you are such a huge fan! Duh!
-
Duran Duran were pretty special, but I was always more of a Human League fan... seen them play three times in the last four years, and they always come out at the stage door afterwards to meet fans, so I've had the pleasure of meeting them - really down to earth people.
I hope you get lucky with the tickets... why not stick up a PayPal link for next time, you never know, people might take pity on you.
