| The One Hating Those "Words" |
I HATE HATE HATE "meh" and "feh." With a purple passion. Who the heck started it? When I see either one on a blog, chat or email, I want to poke my eyes out with toothpicks! Or scrape my nails slowly down a chalkboard. That would be much more pleasurable.
Ahhhhh...I feel much better with that off my chest!

Uh, they're Yiddish. Been around for centuries...just now coming into usage with some hipsters.
An affectation? Yup. But it is kind of sad that you don't now what they are, or understand that you kind of sound uneducated.
Here's a suggestion: get over yourself.

I neither feel stupid nor uneducated. Because I know little to no yiddish does not make me either one. I got over myself years ago. Meh and feh still grate my nerves. Don't you just LOVE anonymous comments? The wonderful world of blogging.
